SMS Program Terms

Program name: Datatriz Booking Alerts. Text messages under this program are sent by Datatriz LLC on behalf of the local service businesses that use the Datatriz booking platform (for example landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, and valet companies). Messages are customer care only: quote links, booking requests, and booking confirmations. We never send marketing or promotional texts under this program.

How you opt in

There are exactly two ways a phone number can receive messages from this program. Both are actions you take first; we never text a number that has not contacted a participating business.

1. You call a participating business and the call is not answered. When you call a participating business's phone number and no one can pick up, you hear a recorded voice message that tells you a text is being sent to you:

"Thanks for calling [business name]. Sorry we missed you. We just texted you a link to get a quote."

A single text message with a link to that business's quote and booking page is then sent to the number that placed the call. It is sent once per inquiry: repeat calls from the same number in the same day do not trigger additional messages.

2. You submit a booking request on a participating business's booking page. If you provide your mobile number when requesting a quote or booking an appointment, the business may send you a text confirming your request or your scheduled appointment time.

Message frequency and fees

  • Message frequency varies with your interaction, typically one to three messages per inquiry or booking.
  • Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.

Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. You will receive a single confirmation of your opt-out and nothing further.
  • Reply START to resubscribe at any time.

Example messages

"Hey, sorry we missed your call! Get an instant quote and book us here: https://book.datatriz.com/your-business or reply here and we will get right back to you. Reply STOP to opt out."
"[Business name]: your mulch installation is confirmed for Thursday at 10:00 AM. Reply here if you have any questions. Reply STOP to opt out."
